As part of South East Water’s yearly community grants program, the Casey North Community Information and Support Services (CNCISS) was awarded a grant.
Through the financial literacy system “Stay on Track” run by CNCISS, group members in Casey Cardinia, Frankston, and the Mornington Peninsula have access to free assistance thanks to the offer.
According to CNICSS administrative officer Helen Small, the plan has catered to the community’s expanding needs for financial management tools and education.
She said, “We’re seeing more and more community members coming to us under fiscal pressure, putting strain on their relationships and health.”
The organization’s one-to-one financial counseling company works in tandem with the “Keep on Track” plan, which provides precise and accurate information.
According to Ms. Small, “Our approach aids in making informed financial decisions, including guidance on budget, costs payments, loans, using credit, avoiding economic scams, and putting an end to the period of debt.”
Nerida Casey, the client affordability manager for South East Water, expressed her pride in helping CNCISS support the community, particularly in light of the current cost of living pressures.
She stated that “Community organizations like CNCISS provide essential front-line support for community members who may be struggling to pay their bills and fulfill their monetary obligations.”
“With the help of our Community Grants program, we’re excited to see this significant venture come to life.”
The yearly group grants program at South East Water provides funding for neighborhood initiatives that assist underprivileged residents.
Its objectives include improving the atmosphere, encouraging greater community and activity, and educating people about water and how to make the most of it.
With specialized care programs, pleasure and pain grants, incentive schemes, suffering plumbing support, and family violence support, the organization is currently providing financial support to 13, 000 customers.
