Angels of Love’s mission is to provide personalized solutions in a safe and caring environment for abused women and children in the Rio Grande Valley. We strive to equip them with the resources necessary to regain their health and rebuild their lives.
The company is deeply committed to assisting victims of domestic violence. When Angels of Love was established, our goal was to provide a comprehensive range of services for abused children and families. We aim to fill the gaps left by underfunded and understaffed government services for women, children, and families. This is achieved through advocacy, victim and family support, youth programs, initiatives to prevent teen dating violence, parenting classes, financial literacy courses, emergency housing and referral services, as well as the legal advocacy project.
Advocacy involves championing the interests of others. Angels of Love is dedicated to advocating for victims of abuse in the Rio Grande Valley. We engage with local, state, and national policymakers on behalf of individuals, children, and their families. By collaborating with other organizations that share our goals and working with fellow advocates, we aim to enhance our overall influence and effectiveness. Angels of Love conducts public awareness campaigns, educational programs, community-based prevention initiatives, and started providing victims of domestic violence with robust legal services, legal advocacy, and protective order clinics in 2021.
Community-based services known as victim and family support services provide assistance and guidance to parents in their role as caregivers. These services can take various forms depending on the skills and needs of the family. Angels of Love offers the “Empowerment for Victims and Families” program and the “Expect Respect” teen dating violence prevention program to local school districts, juvenile offenders, and community members. For young girls, Angels of Love also offers programs like Kind Ladies and Girl Power.
A nonprofit organization called Angels of Love provides free services to individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking in Hidalgo County.
Angels of Love’s objective is to expand throughout the Rio Grande Valley, providing legal aid, counseling, parenting support, financial literacy workshops, teen dating violence prevention programs, youth initiatives, and emergency shelters for victims of domestic violence.
