Mr. Williams is certified as a financial education instructor (CFEI) and has more than ten years of experience providing personal financial advice.
Herman B. Williams, CFEI, has been named to Marquis Who’s who in MIDLAND, Georgia, January 5, 2024, 24-7 Press Release. People who are profiled are chosen based on current research value, as is the case with all Marquis Who historical volumes. During the selection process, factors like status, notable accomplishments, presence, and fame in a discipline are all taken into consideration.
Mr. Williams has more than ten years of experience as a personal financial advisor, and he has earned his financial education instructor (CFEI) certification from the National Financial Educators Council. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in business management and control through the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama, which he earned in 2010 at age 52, in an effort to look for education opportunities to support his own financial choices and retirement planning as well as delve deeper into the many elements of financial education and money management. He then carried on with his education.
Mr. Williams completed the Terry College of Business’s administrative plan and financial planning system in 2015. He also continued to manage plants for the Southern Company, a sizable electric utility company that he worked for for 35 times. He later founded ATM Financial Services in 2012 using a combination of his official training, four years of military service in the United States Air Force, and life experiences. Mr. Williams built his business on the idea that everyone should have the chance to realize the American Dream. This idea inspired him to use his love of learning about money as a teaching tool to help others invest and manage their money more effectively, which would result in lives that were more successful and goal-oriented.
Mr. Williams continues to give of himself to helping people through both his professional and volunteer endeavors. He has been involved with the nonprofit Kiwanis Club since 2016 and has worked as a leader and volunteer through SCORE Mentors. He introduced and taught a nine-week program for students in Columbus, Georgia, results 11 and 12, through Kiwanis and the Boys and Girls Club of Chattahoochee Valley. The program’s goals were to teach kids about money, support independent life, and promote economic literacy—early educations that he regretted not having received at his young age.
Mr. Williams attributes his success in everything he has pursued and accomplished to his unwavering private resolve to have a positive effect on as many lives as possible. His religious beliefs play a major part in his passion to serve his life’s purpose of serving and supporting others as they find their personal purpose and success in life. He frequently considers fresh ways he can interact with and help people. In the future, Mr. Williams hopes to achieve more underrepresented populations, such as veterans and women, by continuing to teach children and adults about money management and fiscal literacy.
