Texas City Council altered districts, and the governor declares financial education

The Texarkana Texas City Council met Monday and amended two zoning standards.

The first, which included related interpretations and uses for “Utility and Service Uses,” and conformity requirements for “Planned Development,” was passed for a Telecommunications Tower and Stealth Telecommunications Tower.

The University Planned Development District provided wayfinding guidelines for educational institutions, according to the other passed article.

Mayor Bob Bruggeman designated April as Financial Literacy Month.

Throughout the month of April, Texas A&M at Texarkana will provide a complete series of sessions. The seminars may include budgeting, debt reduction, credit administration, fees, investments, and other important economic skills. They are open to students, workers, faculty, and all members of the Texarkana area.
