The Republic of North Macedonia has hired Lingyun Xiang to serve as its financial and economic consultant.

On December 23, 2023, Professor Lingyun Xiang, an economist based in the United States, was appointed as the financial and economic advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia by Ambassador Plenipotentiary Oliver Shambevski, speaking on behalf of Beijing, China (GLOBE NEWSWIRE).
